1. I created a trial account and did not receive any login information. What do I do?

When you created a trial account from https://www.preschool2me.com/free_trial.html you should have received an email with your login information. If you don’t see an email in your Inbox, please check your SPAM/JUNK folder. If you don’t see it, send us an email at talk2us@preschool2me.com or call 980.272.1866


2. Okay, I got the email--what’s next?

Great! The email contains important instructions for setting up your center (Classrooms, Teachers, Students, Lesson Plans etc.) Note that the login information provided in the email is for the administrator section at www.preschool2me.com , and will NOT be used to log in to the app. Enter the credentials provided in the red “Login” box on the bottom right side of the webpage. Again, this login information will not work on the teacher or parent app. You will establish your app login credentials through the administrator section.


3. What does ‘Remember me’ do?

If the computer you are using is not used by any other administrator, you can select ‘Remember me’ check box. This will let your browser remember your email address (not your password).


4. I am logged in what should I do now? Is there a setup process?

When you created a trial account you should have received an email with login information. This email contains important instructions on setting up your center (Classrooms, Teachers, Students, Lesson Plans etc.) Note that the login information provided in the email is for the administrator section at www.preschool2me.com.


5. How do I send announcements?

To send announcements:

a. Login as an administrator to www.preschool2me.com.

b. Click on ‘Announcements’ in the box to the right. Announcements screen is displayed.

c. On this screen you can choose to send the announcement to entire school or specific classroom. Optionally you can choose to attach a document (image, PDF, Excel, Word etc.) along with the announcement.


6. How do I recall a report?

You can only recall report which was sent in the last 24 hours. To recall a report:

a. Go to the admin dashboard on www.preschool2me.com and login.

b. In the second box, you will see the number of reports sent this month. Click on this link.

c. You should see the report that you sent out recently. You may have to go to next page(s) to find the correct report you want to recall.

d. Next to the report, you should see a green arrow. Click on this arrow.

e. You will be asked to confirm that you want to recall this report. Click OK and your report will be recalled.

f. This report will not be available in the list anymore. Teacher can now edit this report in the Teacher app.


7. How do I view reports sent 30+ days ago?

a. Go to the admin dashboard on www.preschool2me.com and login.

b. In the second box, you will see the number of reports sent last month and this year. Click on either link.

c. You can view report that were sent in the past (more than 30 days ago) from this list.


8. How long does the system store the reports?

The reports are stored for one year for the admin section. For parents, the reports are available for 30 days.


9. How long can parents view reports?

For parents, the reports are available for 30 days.


10. How data is kept secure?

Preschool2me has partnered with industry leading cloud based computing organization. Together we provide state of the art infrastructure to capture, transmit, store and secure your data on Preschool2me. These servers are monitored 24/7. Data transmission takes place using 256-bit SSL.

11. Where does the information go once we cannot access reports any longer?

Any information that is not visible to you is purged from our servers. For example, reports past one year are deleted from our servers permanently. Teachers or parents accounts that were disabled/deleted by you are removed instantly from our servers.

1. The login I received when I created an account does not work. Which login do I use?

The login you received when you created your trial account it for the administrator section only. To create a teacher login you have to follow these steps:

a. Login to www.preschool2me.com as an administrator using login details provided in the Welcome email.

b. Click on ‘Classrooms’ from the menu above and create a classroom. Save data.

c. Click on ‘Teachers’ from the menu above and register a teacher. Save Data.

d. Teacher will receive an email with the auto-generated password. Use this password and Teacher’s email to login to the Teacher app on the iPad/iPhone/ iPod.


2. OK I setup the teacher but there are no students. Where do I add students?

You have setup your teacher, great! To add Students:

a. Login to www.preschool2me.com as an administrator using login details provided in the Welcome email.

b. Click on ‘Students’ from the menu above.

c. Enter Student information (name, attach picture, classroom, parent(s) email address etc.). Save data.

d. Parent(s) will receive an email with auto-generated password to login.


3. Can I add students from the Teacher App?

No. At this point only administrators can add/update/remove students using the administrator website.


4. The students listed in my classroom are incorrect. How do I fix that?

First, are you looking at the correct classroom in the Teacher app. If not, click on Change Classroom and select the correct classroom.

If you are looking at the correct classroom and see one or more students that don’t belong to this classroom, ask your administrator to change the classroom for these students using the administrator login on www.preschool2me.com.


5. How do I change classroom?

To change classroom on your device, click on ‘Change Classroom’ button on the top left and select the classroom you want to view.


6. What do the different colored checkboxes mean next to students?

Each colored checkbox indicates the status of the student and his/her daily activity report. On the Teacher app, view the legend at the bottom left to understand what each checkbox means.


7. One or more lesson plan sections are missing or are empty. Can I add them?

Text for Lesson Plan sections (Learning Domains) can be added only in the administrator section at www.preschool2me.com.


8. How did the text appear in various lesson plan sections?

9. How do I add a row to diapering, naps or meals section?

Click on the Edit button or on the section itself to open a popup box. Click on ‘+’ icon to add a new row. Use the same process to diapering, naps or meals section.


10. Why is Memorable Moment section in blue box?

Parents like to read what the teacher has written specifically about their child. To make it stand out we have highlighted the box in blue color!


11. How many pictures can I take per student per day?

You can take only one picture per student per report in a day.


12. Can I send student picture instantly?

No, you cannot send student picture instantly to parents. Picture will get sent when the report is sent out to Parent.


13. I took a picture of a student for a report. Can I remove the picture and take another one?

Yes absolutely. Click on ‘Delete’ button below the student picture. Now you can take another picture or select a picture from the photo album.


14. What if I don’t take a picture? What does the parent see?

If you don’t take a picture, parent will see the ‘Stock’ photo of the child. Stock photo is the photo that you see of the student in the student list.


15. Can I edit the report and save it for now? Or do I have to send it right away?

You can save your work at anytime. No need to send it right away.


16. Can I filter the list of students for certain category? Like Reports Saved but not Sent?

Yes, absolutely. Simply click on any category from the legend in the bottom of your screen. Your student will get filtered based on your selection.


17. I see the student listed on my screen but I cannot edit the report?

To edit a report, the student needs to be checked in. To check in a student, click on the checkbox next to student picture. This will open Attendance Management popup. Select the check-in time and click Check-in.


18. If I have a question/issue to report who do I contact? How do I do that?

There are many ways you can reach Preschool2me helpdesk.

a. Click on mail icon on the top left in the Teacher app. Compose your email and hit send

b. Email us at talk2us@preschool2me.com.

c. Call us at 980.272.1866.


19. Can I change my password?

Yes. To change your password, click on Settings in the bottom. Enter old password and new password. Hit Save.


20. Can I enter report for a past date?

You can enter/edit report for one day in the past only.


21. What do Save, Send and Clear buttons do?

Save: Save Student report but not send.

Send: Save and Send Student report to parents.

Clear: Clear all entries .


22. Can I utilize the app offline?

No, currently to use the Teacher app, you have to be connected to the internet.


23. Our menu items are not on the preset list. Can we add items manually?

To add menu items, please send email to talk2us@preschool2me.com. We will add the menu items to the app list.
